Telluride’s Four Seasons Project Moves Forward
The Four Seasons will soon be a new hotel project on Lot 161 CR and the adjoining Pond Lots in the heart of Mountain Village. Merrimac Fort Partners LLC proposed the development and received approval for the development with Mountain Village Town Council and Design Review Board.
On September 8, 2022, Town Council approved the second reading of the final site-specific planned unit development (SPUD) application and voted to replat the associated parcels of land for the project into one 4.437-acre lot (and renamed it to Lot 161C-RR). On July 21, 2022, Town Council approved the first reading of an ordinance approving the final site-specific planned unit development application for Lot 161CR.
The development proposal consists of 53 traditional hotel rooms, 38 branded residences, 29 condos, 10 workforce housing units, public and patron amenity spaces including a pool, luxurious spa, fitness center and restaurants, along with a ballroom, meeting rooms, private ski lockers, and public and private outdoor landscaped areas.
This project will be a world-class luxury hotel and residences project, managed by a five-star luxury operator. The project currently has an LOI with the Four Seasons for brand and management services. The development team has previously developed and owns Four Seasons Hotels and Residences in Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale, and Surfside, Florida.
